Who We Are

At a Supported Life, we understand that life is made of various interwoven elements. A person’s wellbeing is related to their physical health, environment, mental health, social connections, engagement with meaningful activities, and contact with own aspirations. We believe in a holistic support that aligns with the eight principles of Enabling Good Live.

A Supported Life is involved with the lives over fifty people who have learning disabilities, living in their own homes, in homes shared with 3 or fewer flat mates, and other individualised home life options.

Our support includes but is not limited to promoting and supporting community inclusion, connection, home-life management, budgeting, and communication. We are also involved in finding and maintaining paid and/or voluntary employment.

Community connection is an integral part of our organisational value. This is the mission of Two4Nine, which is an arm of our organisation that is dedicated in supporting the people we support as active members of our West Auckland communities.
